Round Ottoman Tutorial

Yesterday I professed my love for Sarah Richardson's design style and I announced my fabric hunt here. The image below is just one of my many inspirations thanks to Sarah R. Not only do I love the fabric here, I also love the round ottoman. Ottomans are usually square or rectangular, so I like the unexpected round shape with the soft fabric. The overall sitting area in this bedroom looks elegant and beautiful yet so comfy at the same time - exactly how I think a master bedroom should look.

Recently I came across a brilliant tutorial for DIY-ing a round ottoman. The amazing Diane over at In My Own Style posted the directions in two steps; here is part 1 and part 2. Oh, and did I mention this was a no-sew project???!!? Genius, I tell you! Here is her finished product:

I am really trying to practice self control with all my DIY projects as the list keeps growing and growing and growing...but that doesn't mean I can't share this fab idea with all my lovely readers out there, right?! Enjoy :-)

  3. Hi Erin-

Thanks again for featuring my ottoman. :) I too have a project list a mile long. Wouldn't it be nice to have all the time and money you needed to get them finished - just dreaming.

    My best- Diane
